YouTube Update Android App with Bottom Navigation Bar

YouTube has just started rolling out some changes to its Android users, and it seems that the application will get a bottom navigation bar to improve functionality. The bar doesn't seem to come with any new features, but it does improve the way users browse through the application in search of videos to watch.
A few weeks ago, YouTube started testing an improved comment UI in the Android app, one that would give users the possibility of sorting comments in multiple ways.

The comment UI would borrow some features from the desktop version of YouTube, and truth be told, YouTube still needs to work on its Android app incorporate more features that are found in the web version.

YouTube has started rolling out a new navigation bar for its Android app, one that would sit at the bottom of the screen, Android Police reports. The navigation bar actually has a white background, as opposed to the red background color that it had when it stayed at the top of the screen.

Selected icons on the bar are now red, as compared to white in the past. The Shared tab is still there, but it only appears to users who have already had it in the previous version. The comments UI doesn't seem to be included, so we'll have to continue waiting for this change to come.

The change to the navigation bar isn't something major, but it does manage to improve functionality, although it makes the Android version resemble that on iOS.
