Opposition party, The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Tuesday night accused the First lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mrs Aisha Buhari of planning to assassinate governor Fayose of Ekiti state for exposing her corrupt dealings.

The official Twitter handle of (PDP) @PDPNigeria stated 'Governor Fayose may have to take extra security measures to prevent Aisha Buhari or the 1st family from assassinating him'

Earliar before the PDP tweet, Aisha Buhari, the wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday night rebuked the governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose, over allegation that she was involved in the Halliburton scandal, calling him an unchained mad dog, and also stating that at 45 years, she has enough energy to face him (Fayose)

It can be recalled that, following the blockage of account of the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, which he operates with Zenith Bank Plc, the governor has vehemently reacted to the development, alleging that President Muhammadu Buhari and his family members are not saints after all.

Accusing President Muhammadu Buhari and his family of being corrupt, the Governor said in a press release by his Chief Press Secretary Mr Idowu Adelusi, that, ” Even the President cannot claim to be an angel.
