Man poisons wife and records her ?slow? death on camera

A 29-year-old businessman, one Oluchi Ajimowu, who was allegedly involved in the death of his wife, Priscillia Ajimowu, a 23-year-old mother of two, has been apprehended by the State Department for Criminal Investigation, SCID, Yaba, Lagos State.

The suspect, according to PUNCH, had on November 29, locked the deceased up in her room, seized her phone and went out with their two children. On arrival, he reportedly met his wife foaming in the mouth.

Notwithstanding, reports say the police are working on two theories: that it is either Ajimowu smashed the wife?s head on the floor, or she poisoned herself after being frustrated by her husband.


According to reports, the deceased before her death lived with her husband and two children.

She had demanded to be taken to a hospital, but her husband allegedly declined, and gave her palm oil instead.
He reportedly filmed her at their residence in the FESTAC area of the state for about 40 minutes, after which she gave up the ghost.

It was learnt that Ajimowu wrote ?for sale? on the house shortly after the wife?s death.

Meanwhile, prior to the incident, Ajimowu had reportedly subjected the deceased to inhuman treatment for the four years they spent in South Africa. He came back to Nigeria four months ago while the wife arrived on November 27, two days before her death.
