Chelsea Set to terminate Radamel Falcao loan

Chelsea are ready to cancel Radamel Falcao's loan deal following his dismal showing in the Premier League.

The Colombian international had a poor loan stint with Manchester United last season, and was expected to make his way back to Ligue 1 with parent club AS Monaco.

However, Blues boss Jose Mourinho wanted to give a second chance to the striker, and signed him on a season-long loan deal over the summer.

The 29-year-old has since then struggled to find the net, and ESPN claims that the Blues may terminate his temporary move in the quest to sign a new striker.

Falcao has scored a single goal in 11 outings for Chelsea this campaign.
