Police in Ohio have arrested a man in connection with the death of a woman found hanging from a fence near a construction site.
Neighbors told WKRC-TV that they thought Rebecca Cade's body was just a particularly graphic Halloween prank. When construction workers in Chillicothe realized it was actually a dead woman, they called police.
Cade, 31, was dangling from high up on the fence where her sleeve was caught. The cause of death was ruled to be blunt force trauma, and she had defensive wounds on her arms.
Donnie Cochenour Jr., 27, was arrested and charged with murder in connection with Cade's death, the Chillicothe Gazette reported.
Police described Cochenour and Cade as "some type of acquaintances," and said Cochenour had admitted that they had a physical altercation near where her body was found.
Officials believe Cade was fleeing from Cochenour and tried to climb over the fence when she got caught.
Cochenour is on suicide watch at the Ross County jail, according to The Columbus Dispatch.
Police said there is no connection between Cade's death and a string of murders in the Ross County area which some believe to be the work of a serial killer.
