As battle for control of Chibok and Gwoza rages, several battalion of soldiers have been mobilized to attack and dislodge Boko haram insurgents from the much dreaded Sambisa forest, the alleged fortress of the terrorist group in Borno State. This operation the military hopes will result in the final ejection of the Islamic sect from their already thin base and recovery of the forest.
