Thousands of supporters and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday stormed Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, for the declaration of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for a second term in office, where among others, the embattled Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Aminu Tambuwal, and former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu called on President Goodluck Jonathan to resign from office because of poor leadership. Alternatively, they asked the president to face the consequences of the angry electorate who will vote him out alongside the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2015 elections so that there can be peace in Nigeria.
