Nokia 6 Goes Global

HMD Global and Nokia opened their MWC 2017 press conference with the confirmation of Nokia 6's global availability. The smartphone that sold out in just 23 seconds in China will be available worldwide starting Q2 2017.

According to HMD, more than 1.3 million fans have registered their interest to buy the Nokia 6 in China. Unfortunately, the Finnish company was unable to meet the high demand, so we're wondering how it will cope with a worldwide demand.

The good news is HMD still has a a few months to ramp up production of the Nokia 6. Not to mention the company announced a couple of other handsets that will be launched on the market around the same time, so the demand might split between multiple devices.

Nokia 6 will be available worldwide in four different colors: Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper. The phone will cost just €229 outright, but it might be even cheaper than that at carriers.
