The immediate past minister of State for Defence, Senator Musiliu Obanikoro, has blasted the South African authorities for impounding $9.3million meant for Nigeria?s arms purchase on the grounds that the money was not allegedly declared at the airport as demanded by law.
Although, the security agencies have claimed ownership of the money, this was the first time a top government functionary will openly speak on the controversy.
