If you are not of age and you are reading this, you should bounce off immediately. This is strictly for adults who have minds of their own and are ready to bear the consequences of their actions

Being in a relationship is exciting as you have a companion to share your thoughts and worries with. Couples who are married share more than the burdens as they have every right to explore themselves in ways virgins will consider creepy.

Speaking of the virgins, let them be for now, please. Every dog has its day. But for those who have experienced the moaning, groaning and panting in the bedroom, it is an entirely different case.

Nigerians are sentimental about sex and some issues. Parents avoid having that talk with their children as they find it awkward. Anywhere sex is being discussed, you can be sure that it will b e met with so much skepticism.

The truth of the matter is that many people in Nigeria are being hypocritical. They act like the word itself is a sin whereas, it is part of life. Some married couples still cringe and feel ashamed when it is being raised as an issue.

Whoever has the audacity to talk about the dos and don’ts of sex is being labelled as a wayward person. People tend to insult people who are bold enough to raise this subject, they have forgotten that it is our reality. As sentimental as we become, it is a vital aspect of our lives since it involves procreation.

Nigerians, like other people in different continents, enjoy having sex. Some couples are able to keep their marriages and relationships in check because they do not lose touch with each other. Even though some say the pleasure lasts for about five minutes, nothing can take away the satisfaction that comes with the feeling.

Shy couples do the ‘missionary style’. This is like the most common position as people feel comfortable lying down and doing the act. Younger couples who are energetic and obviously ‘in town’ try all sorts of position. Doggy is one of the positions younger people try as they are able to control the depth during penetration.

They seem to know the intrinsic of the act itself as they start with foreplay while moving to the more sensual positions. Some women love it when they are ‘on top’ as they could control the process.

During pregnancy, couples get creative as they have to find out ways to maximise pleasure while reducing pains and discomfort. In as much as your partner is down with the position, you can both hit the honey pot.

Some Nigerian men no doubt love penetrating from behind as they want to hold the women’s butt at the same time. A few people spoken to said they will like women to sleep chest down on the bed while suspending their butt. This should not be strange as African women are endowed, the men simply want to feel their curves as they penetrate.

Many married couples simply use a position that suits their location and needs. Doing it in the kitchen may not give you the luxury of lying down on the bed as women may have to be lifted while wrapping their legs around the men’s waists. The men will have to use a wall as a support in order to have enough strength to pound.

Which is your favourite sex position?
