Unity Schools? Teachers Suspend Month-long Strike

The Association of Senior Civil Servants of Nigeria (ASCSN), has announced the suspension of the strike by its members in the Federal Ministry of Education and the Unity Colleges across the country.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by Dr Clement Illoh, the Permanent Secretary, Dr Bello Umar, the Director, Human Resources in the ministry and Mr Alade Lawal, ASCSN Secretary General, on Friday in Abuja.
 
The suspension, according to the statement obtained by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), is sequel to an agreement reached at a stakeholders? meeting held on Oct. 15.
