Reporters from various news organizations were Thursday prevented from covering court proceedings in the trial of 59 soldiers charged with alleged mutiny.

When queried over the shutting out of journalists, the chairman of the all military court martial, Maj.-Gen. Musa Yusuf, explained that military authorities took the decision in the interest of national security.
