Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 is for sure one of the most anticipated smartphones to hit the market in the next month. Samsung has timed this launch in a very strategic way, the company intended to grab the market’s attention one month before Apple is expected to unveil its new device, the iPhone 7. Rumors on upcoming Note continue to pour in, with the latest creating a controversy around the device’s screen size.

It has surely been a very eventful week, considering that specs and clear images of the Note 7 have leaked just one month before its official unveiling. Indeed, there’s much we know about Samsung’s flagship, including RAM capacity, battery and display size.

Images of the smartphone also leaked online, showing a clear view of the device’s design. The Note 7 is expected to come with a Snapdragon 821 or Exynos 8893, 3600mAh or 4000mAh battery capacity, iris and fingerprint scanner and obviously the S Pen.

The Note 7 was imported into India on July 1
Rumors have revealed that the Note 7 will feature a 5.7-inch display but it seems that new information has surfaced and trying to refute this rumor. As it turns out, Samsung’s Galaxy Note 7 appeared on India’s import-export site Zauba, according to Digitseek. The post revealed that the device might come with a 6-inch screen.

This stirs some controversy, since the device could actually come with a much biggest screen than it was previously anticipated. The smartphone carries the codename SM-N930R4, which corresponds with the Galaxy Note 7. The device was imported into India on July 1 for testing in South Korea.

Aside from the listing, there’s not much information to go on. This is the first time the Note 7 appears in a listing with a 6-inch screen, but there’s the possibility that this could be just an early prototype of the phone.

Still, there’s a small chance that this could be the real deal and the Note 7 could actually come with such a large display. Considering the nature of this rumor, it’s best if the information is taken with a grain of salt.

Either way, the August 2 unveiling will surely put all rumors to rest, as on this day Samsung will finally reveal this exciting device during an event to be held in New York.
