In a bid to create jobs for the youth in the state through agriculture, Governor Olusegun Mimiko of Ondo state has charged the sericulture section of the state?s Wealth Creation Agency, WECA, to go into massive production of the wig worn by lawyers in anticipation of a business relationship with the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA.
The Governor stated this during a tour of the Sericulture section over the weekend, where he reiterated that agriculture remains the sector with capacity to stimulate and insulate the economy.

He explained that the state government?s decision to reinvigorate WECA was in order to enhance food security and provide raw materials that can promote industrialisation as well as provide employment opportunities.

Mimiko directed the sericulture section of the agency to go into massive production of lawyer?s wig in order to provide more employment opportunities for the youth and promised to liaise with NBA chairman for collaboration and patronage.
