Nigerian Police rescues 3 female students kidnapped in Lagos

Reports say the three girls who were abducted at a popular Lagos State secondary school, Babington Macaulay Junior Seminar, Ikorodu have been rescued.

The Lagos state Police Command has confirmed the release of the girls.
The abductors of the girls had smashed part of the school fence at Barbinton Macauley, stormed the classrooms area and snatched the girls.

Lagos state Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owseni said the girls were rescued around Igbokuta area of Ikorodu in Lagos.
The girls, Timilehin Olisa, Tofunmi Popoolaniyan and Deborah Akinayo are SS2 pupils of the Anglican school.
