The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja11, has advised political office holders to rule with the fear of God and bequeath a good name for the next generation.

Ooni said this when the Senator Representing Ondo North Senatorial District, Sen. Ajayi Borofice visited him on Friday, in Ile-Ife.

Ogunwusi said political office holders should always think of what the future generation would benefit from their rule.


He said politicians such as Awolowo were still being eulogised because they left good legacies.

Earlier, Borofice said he came to thank the Ooni for his effort to unify the Yoruba race.
