Apple to Launch Wireless Beats Headphones for iPhone 7

iPhone 7 could give up on the traditional headphone jack and instead go all in on the Lightning port, a move that?s already drawing criticism from users across the world.

But it appears that Apple is very serious about this change, and a new report claims that the company is already working on a new set of headphones manufactured by Beats that would be completely wireless, meaning that they won?t even have a cable connecting the two earpieces.

9to5mac says the design will be very similar to the Motorola Hint and the Bragi Dash, with the latter also coming with a button on the earpiece to answer calls.

It?s not yet clear if Apple is aiming for a similar approach, but if it does, the company could rely on Bluetooth to connect them while also offering at least one button to quickly answer/end calls and access Siri.
