President Muhammadu Buhari is billed to hold talks with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, IMF, Christine Lagarde, on Tuesday

Reuters on Monday quoted the IMF as saying in a statement that Lagarde would meet Buhari and his Finance Minister, Kemi Adeosun.

According to the report, Lagarde said: ?I look forward to productive meetings as they address important economic challenges, most importantly the impact of low oil prices.?

Though no further detail was given in respect to the meeting, analysts believe the parley may not be unconnected with efforts of the Buhari administration to revive the Nigerian economy.
