Real Madrid?s James Rodriguez has been named the sexiest man in the world for 2014, following his heroics at the World Cup in Brazil and his big-money transfer to Real Madrid.

The Colombian midfielder, who also recently lauched his own range of branded underpants, was given the honour by People En Espanol Magazine.

?He?s a very attractive man,? his wife, Daniela Ospina said. ?But what I most like is the way he is, his personality. It?s what I really love.?

Rodriguez went from promising talent to global superstar this year, but his mother insists fame has not gotten into his head.
