Apple to Roll Out New 3D Touch System After iPhone 7
« on: December 17, 2015, 12:02:18 PM »

The next-generation iPhone is expected to come with the very same 3D Touch system that?s currently available on the 6s and 6s Plus, but Apple is planning to develop a new version of this technology after the future model sees daylight, according to a new report.

The main reason for developing a second iteration of 3D Touch is support for bigger screens, as for the moment, the version currently available on the iPhone cannot be used on the iPad, Apple Insider writes.

In other words, 3D Touch is for the moment limited to screens of 5.5 inches, so an upgraded version would allow for bigger displays, including those that are being used on iPad tablets.
