Naijacrux gathered that The march shut down the major roadways in Lagos and brought business activity to a standstill.

IPOB announced yesterday it would conduct a protest in Lagos on December 16th and 17th.

The second day of protests will see marchers visit the offices of Amnesty International, the United Nations (UN), as well as several embassies in order to deliver protest letters.

The planned marches come on the heels of a warning from the Lagos chapter of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) that pro-Biafra protesters should ?steer clear? of Lagos.

Police officers were present throughout the protest in order to ensure public safety. Thus far, there are no reports of violence in contrast to the bloody clashes between pro-Biafra protesters and police earlier this month.
