The minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun has said the Federal Government is still in the process of collating the money looted by public officials of the past administration and as such no specific figure can be given yet.

Naijacrux recalls that President Muhammadu Buhari had on November 24 during an interactive session with members of the Nigerian community in the Islamic Republic of Iran said government officials who looted public treasury during the last dispensation have started returning their loots, though he never identified the looters.

Adeosun, while addressing newsmen at Friday?s Federation Accounts Allocation Committee , FAAC, meeting, in Abuja, disclosed that the process of getting the figures is still on-going.

She said when the funds are finally collated, they would be returned to where they were looted from.

?There is no figure on the funds being returned yet. The process is on-going. When it is completed and the accounts are available, they would be returned to where they were stolen from. We haven?t come to that yet,? Adeosun said.
