[UNBELIEVABLE] US Woman Accidentally Superglues Her Eye Shut

Katherine Gaydos of Florida was using a leaf blower to do some autumn cleaning around the yard when something got into her eye. At first, the woman tried to simply cry the debris away.

When this didn't work, she reached out for what she believed was eye drops. Except that, as she was soon to discover, what she really grabbed hold of was superglue meant to keep false fingernails in place.

Thinking that the concoction was eye drops, the unsuspecting woman dripped some in her eye, Fox 59 reports. Moments later, before she could do anything about it, her lid was glued shut. Try as she might, Katherine Gaydos couldn't pry it open.

Clueless about how to deal with this unfortunate incident herself, the woman went to see a doctor, who managed to unseal her eye. She's supposed to see him again these days to have the glue attached to her cornea cleaned.

Although Katherine Gaydos experienced an intense burning sensation when she dripped superglue into her eye, the doctor handling her case says it doesn't look like she suffered any permanent damage.

Once the superglue traces on her cornea are removed, the woman should make a full recovery. True, she might experience some discomfort in her eye for a few days, but other than this, she should be just fine.
