Manchester United look in pole position to land star striker Cristiano Ronaldo next summer, according to reports.


The Portuguese sensation is regarded as one of the best forwards in the world.

Real chief Florentino Perez had recently hinted that the club could allow the sale of their star asset in the future.

French source Le 10 Sport now understands that the 30-year-old will seek a move away from the Bernabeu at the end of the season as he has no connection with current manager Rafael Benitez.

It is added that Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United will fight it out for Ronaldo's signature, with the latter deemed favourites due to his link with the club.
