If you're one of those avid Instagram users like beyounce (and Kim Kardashian), you've probably noticed for a few days now that you cannot add a custom location to your photos anymore.

The function is part of the social network's photo geo-tagging feature and helps drive its Photo Map profile section, where a user can plot out his Instagram pictures on a map.

While initially I was hoping that the Instagram staff has pulled it offline to make some tweaks to it, searching the app's changelog reveals that the company has added a new "Search by location" feature.
