A British charity has warned that a rise in the number of diabetes cases in the UK is threatening to bankrupt the National Health Service (NHS). According to Diabetes UK,More than three million people in the UK are being treated for diabetes - an increase of nearly 60% in the past 10 years. The charity Diabetes UK says the figures show the vast majority have type 2.
