Microsoft is working to bring several new devices with Windows 10 Mobile to the market, and since some will be flagships, several innovative features are very likely to be offered.

Some sources indicated that iris scanners and other advanced technology could be part of the next Windows 10 Mobile Microsoft flagship, but now it turns out that support for 3D displays is also considered.

Information posted on Microsoft MSDN page and spotted by WMPU reveals that stereoscopic 3D displays will be supported in Windows 10 Mobile, and while this isn?t a sign that Microsoft will indeed create such a device, it?s still living proof that manufacturers who?ll want to launch phones featuring this kind of screens can do so with the new mobile OS.

On the other hand, Microsoft could also develop a new way to connect Windows 10 Mobile devices to 3D displays with a regular USB cable, which could thus make Hololens and Continuum for phones, the new goodies that the company presented earlier this year, key parts of its own mobile revolution.
