Microsoft Leaked first smartwatch

While Microsoft has dabbled in wearable technology, they haven?t released a real smartwatch as of yet. There are no options for Windows Phone users, and certainly Microsoft needs to get in the game to retain customers that would want to use a smartwatch.

The image above is that of a concept called Moonraker, and it could be a leak of Microsoft?s first attempt at creating a smartwatch. The device itself does look quite a bit like Samsung wearables, but the concepts reveals what the Windows inspired UI may look like with scrolling tiles (two dimensions), as well as familiar iconography. It also has the distinctive colours of the Microsoft Lumia range.

@evleaks reveals the information that there is also a model number tied to the Microsoft smartwatch we?re seeing above and below: ?the model number for this is/was LS-50″. This adds more mystery to the story, as it hints that the product/project existed and might even exist as we speak.

Is a Windows-based smartwatch something you would be interested in.
