In preparation for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in New Zealand, the Flying Eagles of Nigeria is to play three test matches for the team. According to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), below are the fixtures for the three matches.

Nigeria U20 vs. Hoffenheim U23; May 12; 4pm Nigerian time.

Nigeria U20 vs. Nurnberg U23; May 15; 4.30pm Nigerian time.

Nigeria U20 vs. Freiburg  U23; May 19; 2.30pm Nigerian time.

The first two matches is to enable coach Manu Garba and his assistants to finally select the 21 players that will go for the World Cup. Nigeria will submit a final squad to FIFA on May 15 and they will fly out to New Zealand through Australia from Germany on May 23.
