Senator Uche Chukwumerije is to be given a heroic burial on May 22 in his country home Ngodo Isuoche, Abia State, the Senate President, David Mark has announced on Tuesday.

The burial date was contained in a letter from the family of the late Senator Chukwumereije which was read on the floor of the senate during the plenary. The President of the senate described late Senator Chukwumerije as national hero who was an all round pan- Nigerian.
