The Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari(retd.), has visited the parents of the over 200 girls kidnapped by the Boko Haram sect in Chibok, Borno State.

This was contained in a Facebook post on the ?Buhari 2015′ fan page on Tuesday.

Buhari said, ?We left for Chibok in spite of JTF?s refusal to go along with us. Good must triumph over evil.

?I was personally moved when I came out and saw thousands of Civilian JTF members, who had volunteered to provide security for us.?

The APC Presidential candidate lamented the reluctance of the JTF to provide security for his entourage because of lack of clearance from Abuja.

Buhari, in the post, thanked the people of Chibok for ?coming out in their thousands to support us.?

He added, ?Once again, I am assuring the Chibok community that we are standing with them and if elected to power, we will do all things possible to eradicate insurgency in the country and facilitate the return of our daughters.?
