About the Role

Research Manager to lead the research function that provides insights to both our internal and client facing business practices across the West Africa region. The Research Manager is expected to gather intelligence and provide insights to support Deloitte’s leadership to help them make sound decisions and keep the organization ahead of the market.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all research management activities including industry newsletters, thought leadership, client presentations, articles and blog posts, etc. In delivering these materials, the Research Manager should understand research techniques and tools/databases that can add value to the research process.
The successful candidate will be able to establish working synergies between internal capabilities and the wider West African markets, by providing actionable insights for leaders across service lines. This requires a deep understanding of the key issues that drive our business and a sound awareness of the relevant markets in which we and our clients operate in.
Job Description

Support internal stakeholders to develop research content on topical issues that are critical to clients
Conduct research and provide insights about industry trends
Develop unique and thoughtful perspectives on industry-related issues to support client engagement activities
Support industry leaders in the design and execution of client initiatives and account plans
Ensure that research is created using credible qualitative and quantitative methodologies and based on key insights and findings from the studies
Represent technical or complex topical issues into language that can be understood by all
Provide insights for thought leadership
Organize and manage research projects to achieve project milestones
Develop periodic publications featuring interesting research visualizations using diverse sets of data that promises significant business impact
Build effective working relationships with subject matter experts within the firm and the external marketplace
Facilitate the deployment of research/thought leadership through a variety of channels
Qualifications

Possess a Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in any discipline with a minimum of second class lower/lower credit in any field
Have a minimum of five credits in WASSCE Ordinary Level/NECO subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only
A minimum of 6 years’ cognate experience. Previous professional services experience will be an added advantage.

Job Description

Act as a support consultant/facilitator at all stages of the pursuits in the G&PS/ E,R&I to help to identify winning themes, lead discussions, compelling messages, excellent solutions and ideas.
Lead creation, development and production of effective pursuit materials that competitively positions our organization and teams relevant to the client’s expectations
Build substantial connections in the G&PS/ E,R&I space and work the corridors to win more business for the firm
Explore market intelligence backed with sound relationship to identify potential RFP that are strategic and commercially viable and follow-up on them up to issuance and collection
Work closely with the industry leaders and C&I team to formulate sales and proposal strategies
Support key “must win” industry client pursuits.
Manage the multiple projects/ initiatives within the industry program.
Constantly identify local and global eminence topics to project the brand and competence in the G&PS/ E,R&I space
Maximise PR opportunities that are presented by marketing, including ensuring that spoke persons are available for proactive and reactive media commentary.
Develop list of possible targets in the space and build marketing strategy around them
Work closely with the industry head and the Chief of Staff (CoS) to coordinate, schedule and manage the industry meetings, forums and strategy sessions
Lead, plan and support the implementation of the industry’s strategy. This will involve working closely with C&I Leader to agree planning priorities and work plans
Works with industry lead and Head of C&I to achieve firm’s defined objectives in the G&PS/ E,R&I
Create and manage robust relationship in the space for opportunities mining

Qualifications

Possess a Bachelor's degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) with strong analytical, economics and/or financial grounding preferable with a minimum of second class lower/lower credit

A minimum of 7 years experience in industry or professional services delivery

The ability to work with various stakeholders and across different levels within and across the organization as well as outside

About the role

Project Manager (PM)  will manage all brand promotion activities and campaigns from conception through to completion and ultimately ensure that these projects are executed within scope, time, budget and quality.

In addition, he/she will monitor the C&I dashboard to track brand promotion projects in terms of budgets, workflows, teams and deliverables. The Project Manager will utilize standard project management tools to manage risk, changes and communications with relevant stakeholders.
Job Description

Manage the development of the knowledge management portal by monitoring its preparation, implementation and ultimate deployment
Promote knowledge sharing through the organization's operational business processes and systems by, among others, strengthening links between knowledge sharing and the supporting systems
Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of the Knowledge Management Portal
Effectively track and monitor the C&I dashboard. Ensure regular updates where necessary
Effectively lead performance management activities carried out by the C&I team
Collaborate effectively with client-facing Partners to deliver on commitments to clients as appropriate
Promptly prepare monthly and quarterly performance reports and communicate same with C&I leadership
Develop the annual budget plan for the C&I Unit
Effectively track and monitor the Unit’s budget utilization
Be involved in the various stages of C&I projects, including initial content creation, project management, implementation, quality assurance processes
General oversight on all ongoing projects with the C&I team
Qualifications
