President Muhammadu Buhari has returned back to Nigeria, after a private visit to the United Kingdom.

His return was confirmed on Twitter by his Special Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmaad.

Ahmaad tweeted: “President Muhammadu Buhari returns to Abuja after a private visit to the United Kingdom.”

The presidential jet touched down at about 6.20pm on Sunday, at the presidential wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International airport in Abuja.

Buhari has been away from the country for 10 days.
