Following a seven-year delay in the prosecution of former Enugu State Governor, Chimaroke Nnamani over an alleged N5 billion fraud, The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Tuesday described the trial as a 'judicial scandal', which the judiciary must address.

EFCC's lawyer, Kelvin Uzozie, who stated this at the continued hearing of the matter before a Federal High Court in Lagos, lamented that the matter had been stalled severally on account of Nnamani's frequent applications to travel abroad for medical treatment.
