Apple is planning to take the wraps off three different iPhone models this year, one of which would be a more affordable configuration boasting Face ID facial recognition and giving up on Touch ID just like the iPhone X.

With analysts expecting this particular iPhone model to account for a large share of the sales recorded by the new-generation smartphones, Samsung is looking into upgrading its more affordable devices as well in order to cope with the expected growing demand for iPhones.

One way to do this could be bringing premium features to budget models, and according to recent findings, the Galaxy Grand Prime Plus could be the first one to benefit from this new strategy.
