Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to lodge a club-record offer worth £100m to lure David de Gea from Manchester United this summer.
The Spain international came close to joining Los Blancos back in the summer of 2015 but the move was cancelled after the necessary documentation was not sorted out before the transfer deadline.

De Gea has since remained focused at Old Trafford where he has become a huge fan favourite but he could be off to the Spanish capital during the summer.

According to M.E.N, the Spain international could be tempted by a move to the Bernabeu this summer where he would be reunited with former national team coach Julen Lopetegui.

It is added that Los Blancos are prepared to pay a club-record fee worth £100m in order to tempt United to do business for the former Atletico man.

De Gea currently has a year left on his existing deal with Manchester United but his stay may be extended by a further year via a clause written into his contract.
