WhatsApp to Launch Desktop Version Windows 10 App

A Windows desktop version of WhatsApp is already up for grabs for those who want to stay in touch with contacts without unlocking their phones, but it turns out that the parent company is working on something that comes a little bit handier to those already on Windows 10.

WhatsApp is currently testing a Windows Store version of its PC client that would be available to all Windows 10 users, but at first glance, it brings almost no change as compared to the existing app.

Even though you might be tempted to think otherwise, the Windows Store version of the WhatsApp Desktop would still work exclusively on PC and the feature lineup would be exactly the same as the one currently available to users.

The app is already available in the Windows Store, but only registered testers can get it right now, though the company is expected to release it to everyone in the coming weeks.
