The Director, Extension Services in the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Aderemi Abioye, has said that  less than 3 per cent of women in Nigeria have access to agricultural credit facilities.

Speaking at the two-day workshop on validation of Draft Agricultural Gender Policy  in Abuja on Thursday, Abioye lamented that less than 5 per cent of women have access to land; only 4 per cent have access to agricultural extension services while less than 22 per cent have access to farm inputs.
