Following the recent withdrawal the security detail of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, presidential aspirant and national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd) expressed his anger over the matter and cautioned President Goodluck Jonathan against abusing the Principle of Separation of Powers.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Buhari Campaign Organisation (BCO). It said intruding in the affairs of a legislative house which on its own accord adjourned its sitting, would amount to rigging the 2015 general elections.
The statement, signed by BCO?s spokesman, Comrade Osita Okechukwu, said: ?The Buhari Campaign Organisation pleads with President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, GCFR, to use his good offices as the C-in-C to protect and guarantee the security of Rt. Hon. Aminu Tambuwal, the Speaker of House of Representatives.
