Notorious Big’s Mom tells LAPD, You Know Exactly’ Who Killed My Son

After 20 years, the murder of the late Notorious B.I.G. remains one of hip-hop’s biggest unsolved mysteries. As fans, artists and celebrities remember Biggie today (March 9) on the 20th anniversary of his death, the rapper’s mother, Voletta Wallace, is still looking for answers.
In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, the 64-year-old says that she continues to grieve for her son “every single day” as she looks for closure in finding her son’s killer or killers.

“Any mother who has lost a child knows exactly the devastation I feel, it’s the worst pain in the world and one that I wouldn’t wish upon my worst enemy,” says Ms. Wallace. ‘And it’s not just me that is devastated, his sister T’yanna hurts every day because of his loss. As a family, we’ve collectedly grieved and it doesn’t ever get any better for us.”
Through years of her own investigating, Ms. Wallace believes she may know who actually killed her son and believes the Los Angeles Police Department knows who did it too.

“I have a very good idea who murdered Christopher and I genuinely believe that the LAPD know exactly who did too,” she said. “They’ve done their investigation, but they just refuse to move forward. I don’t know why they haven’t arrested who was involved. It seems to me that it’s one giant conspiracy, and someone is definitely being protected somewhere down the line.”

Many conspiracy theorists believe that the bullets which killed Biggie were actually meant for Diddy in revenge for the death of Biggie’s rap rival, Tupac Shakur, who was also gunned down a year prior. The Bad Boy Records CEO has vehemently denied any involvement in the shooting death of 2Pac.

Meanwhile, Ms. Wallace is allowing her faith to help her get through the pain of losing her beloved son.
“I get by, using religion to ease my pain. But that’s not easy. It helps a little, but it’s a far cry from bringing Christopher back to life,’ she said. “There’s no closure for me until that murderer is behind bars and sentenced. That may give me some closure to grab onto, but it sure won’t ever bring my son back.”
