Real Madrid are said to be preparing a bid for Chelsea superstar Eden Hazard, with manager Zinedine Zidane a huge admirer of the Belgian midfielder, appearing very keen on bringing him to the Santiago Bernabeu.


After being billed as one of the best players in the world in 2014/15, Hazard had a poor season with Chelsea last year, struggling to find form in an underperforming Chelsea team and looking as if he was not happy at Stamford Bridge. It has been a different story however this season, with Chelsea threatening to run away with the league under Antonio Conte, and Hazard returning to great form in the process.

As expected, this has caused other big teams to pay attention, and it is Real Madrid who are looking like the team that will be trying the most to take away the London club's key player, as they prepare what is being billed as a "succulent offer" for the 26 year old.

Hazard appears happy with Chelsea at the moment, especially with the return of Champions League football looking likely for next season, however, should this deal go ahead, a trio of Hazard, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale could be devastating to defences.
