Chelsea Boss Antonio Conte reacts to Mourinho's statement

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has insisted that he will not be drawn into mind games following Jose Mourinho's recent swipe at his former club.

The Special One had recently suggested that the Blues will not be caught in the title race due to their 'superior counter-attacking' football combined with a 'defensive' style of play.

However, following last weekend's 1-1 draw at Burnley, Conte admitted that he is unhappy with Jose's 'jokey' comments, but he will not indulge into a war of words with the 54-year-old.

"I don't like to reply to the other coaches," he told reporters. "I don't like this joking. He's playing. I have the experience to understand this."

Conte's side currently hold an eight-point lead at the top of the standings after Manchester City earned a well earned 2-0 win over Bournemouth on Monday night.

Up next, are Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup, and Conte is likely to feature his fringe players against the Championship outfit on Saturday.
