2016 was definitely a good year for Mama Africa crooner, Yemi Alade. A highly publicized collabo with Treysongz on Coke studio Africa helped to boost her profile on the international level.

The Shell song in which she featured brought in so much $$$ into her bank account.  Yemi also won The Future awards for best Artiste in Africa and now she’s got an invitation to the Grammys.
