Asisat Oshoala scored twice in the first half, as Nigeria beat South Africa 2-1 in the first semi-final of the 9th African Women Championship.

Midfielder Refiloe Jane tried to launch a comeback for the Bayana Bayana with a controversial strike, but the Nigerians held on for victory.

The Falcons will now face the winner of the second semi-final clash between Cote d?Ivoire and Cameroon in the final.
