The immediate past governor of Plateau State and the senator representing Plateau north in the national assembly, Jonah Jang has given governor Simon Lalong of the State quite notice to leave government House Rayfield Jos come 2019.

According to Jang, governor Simon Lalong would only spend one tenure in office in view of his poor performances because the people of the state are tired of his blame game and would vote him out of office.He gave the quit notice while speaking at the constituency outreach empowerment programme organised by Hon Istifanus Gyang, the member representing Riyom / Barkin Ladi Federal constituency of Plateau State.

“During my first year in office, I did not travel for once abroad, but as it is in Plateau State today, your governor has travelled abroad so many times all in the name of bringing in investors. Where are the investors?.

“The People of Plateau have decided to vote the PDP in 2019 and would vote out governor Lalong if he decides to contest. The APC government is only maintaining the government house for them awaiting PDP take over in 2019”.he said

He lamented the hardship currently being faced by the people and urged the good people of the State and all PDP members to unite and work towards the victory of the Party come 2019.

Speaking while presenting the materials to 310 beneficiaries, Hon Istifanus Gyang commended the people for given him the mandate to serve,

The federal lawmaker pointed out that the exercise is a direct assault on poverty provided the beneficiaries put the materials to gainful use and in so doing, add value to the economy of their immediate community, the state and the nation at large.
