A social cultural group in sokoto under the auspices of “Every Region Matters” have warned against what they described as consistent unwarranted killings of human beings by suspected herdsmen in north central states of the country.

The group who insisted that, aside creating further rooms for distrust in the region, added that, such dastardly acts if not checked in good time by the relevant authorities, might subsequently degenerate to full blown bitterness in the north.Speaking to LEADERSHIP on what they expected of President Muhammadu Buhari to have done towards halting the orgies of killings in middle belt and Southern part of Kaduna state, the group advised that an army strike force be set up in those areas that have become targets of the killers.

The group asked President Muhammadu Buhari to replicate his swift action of deploying army and sophisticated weapon to Zamfara state when the issue of cattle rustling was getting out off hand in the affected states of north central.

The group further decried the how southern kaduna indegenes are getting killed at will by yet to be identified armed men when Kaduna has good security apparatus to apprehend the perpetrators without delay.

Recall that north central states of the federation has lately been turned into pool of blood with good number of human beings been killed at will by yet to apprehended persons.
